Our campsite is with no doubt the perfect location to explore the entire Maremma territory.
It’s in fact positioned perfectly, right at the beginning of Punta Ala Bay, immersed in a century-old pinewood, facing the sea.
You may take advange and go on some of the many day trips possible from Punta Ala. Our Info Point personnel at the entrance will be glad to give you assistance in organizing them!
You won’t want to miss the gorgeous town of Massa Marittima with its extraordinary cathedral, la Cattedrale di San Cerbone and the Organ Museum (the only one in Italy). Head out to the gorgeous lake of Accesa or try out the different restaurants in the area serving delicious local specialties.
Another place you’ll definitely want to visit to is the cute hamlet of Castiglione della Pescaia at only 15 kilometres from the campsite . A lively atmosphere attracts tourists to do shopping, enjoy some of the many events or just stroll around the medieval town centre perched on the top of the hill. Try out the weekly market on saturdays, to get some nice souvenirs, or buy them at the high quality artisan shops. In the Season we provide a bus service to Castiglione della Pescaia for our guests.
Driving north, you’ll first want to stop at Follonica, only 14 kilometres from the campsite. it’s the perfect place to do some shopping, have a nice meal and spend the afternoon at the water park for example, which is popular with both young and adults!). Next, you’ll reach Venturina with its thermal springs at only 34 kilometres away. Find out all about how to organize a relaxing day at one of the thermals spas at our Info Point.
Would you like visiting a large natural park at the seaside while on holiday? Well, then head to the park of Uccellina! Here you can buy special local products from the local farms at the park visitor’s centre and find out all about hiking, mountain biking and canoeing possibilities in the huge park area.
